Walking through Downtown LA on a quiet Monday night, it would have been nearly impossible to guess that up a couple flights of stairs at The Belasco, Swedish pop star Tove Styrke was on stage amid an enchanted rose garden, and the room was packed with people dancing their faces off.
The beats filled the room, and those attending couldn’t help but move along to the music. The good vibes were infectious, and there wasn’t a single person in the room standing back with their arms crossed.
By the time Tove Styrke played “Say My Name”, the room was grooving along. Despite the fact that her latest album was released less than 6 months ago, the crowd was singing along to every song. Even I found myself bobbing along to the music as I was taking photos.
If the crowd at the Belasco is any indication, it won’t be long before her music is a staple in the clubs. I know I’m looking forward to dancing to her music regularly when I’m out with friends.
