Singer-songwriter Jordan Lindley has reenvisioned his much talked about song “40 West”. The track is a beautiful example of how less is sometimes more, electing to primarily use his acoustic guitar and first-rate voice. Showcasing his charming ability to captivate a listener, the track is a somber depiction of how sometimes happiness can be a “fickle b**ch”.
Lindley states: “I released the studio version of 40 West late last year, but I’ve always loved the demo. My roommate and I decided to flesh the demo out a bit and release it as an alternate version. It’s a folk song about the other side of heartbreak. Sometimes ending things is just as hard as things being ended for you, and that was the experience that I was going through”.
