Pale Waves have just released their most visually inventive video to date with “Noises”.
Focusing heavily on the impactful message found throughout the candid lyrics in “Noises,” the video features four haunting and distressed versions of Pale Waves’ frontwoman, Heather Baron-Gracie, offering lines like “why do I stare so much at my body” and “I feel like I’m slowly losing myself/I’m afraid that I need help” as phrases like “I’m bored of my face” and “does everyone feel this way” flash intermittently between scenes. The mixture of jarring visuals and expressive lyrics reemphasizes the significant message surrounding the song, which Nylon called an “uplifting anthem sending an important message to fans everywhere about the necessity of prioritizing yourself.”
