Muse has put out a series of amazing videos in advance of their new album Simulation Theory, due out on November 9th. The latest, “Pressure,” is a departure in sound from the other singles released so far.
Frontman Matt Bellamy described the song as “more like a straight Muse rock track” in an interview with Radio X. He also described it as “a different riff every 10 seconds.”
The video was directed by Lance Drake and stars Terry Crews, Chance Michael and Julia Robinson. The video references Back to the Future, Critters and Ghostbusters, and pits Terry Crews against furry monsters and vampires. Interestingly, Muse is introduced in the video as Rocket Baby Dolls, which was their name when they originally formed.
The band also released a city announcement for their 2019 World Tour. You can see the cities above. Dates and more city announcements are forthcoming.
