The new Lykke Li album so sad so sexy is out today, and in celebration, Lykke Li announced a live tour. The tour kicks off in October after she plays a series of festival dates this summer.
Lykke Li has already shared videos for her first two singles from the album “deep end” and “hard rain.” The two are loosely linked, forming a narrative about a wild night and torrid love affair that turns to longing and love. The album features contributions from rapper Amine and production by Malay, Rostam, Jeff Bhasker, and T-Minus.
Her last full-length was 2014’s I Never Learn. She has kept busy in-between, forming supergroup LIV with Andrew Wyatt and Pontus Winnberg of Miike Snow and Bjorn Yttling of Peter, Bjorn and John.
