The great thing about living in Los Angeles during April is the proximity to the Coachella Music Festival, and the embarassment of riches afforded us by the Goldenvoice Presents April Concert Series. We here like to call it Localchella. Goldenvoice sponsors shows that allow fans to see their favorite bands in intimate settings.
Look at this ridiculous lineup. PVRIS is playing the Roxy. That is a 500 person capacity venue. Carpenter Brut is playing the El Rey, which is a 700 maximum capacity venue. First Aid Kit is playing The Observatory in Santa Ana, with only 1000 people watching. You can see A Perfect Circle with 2000 of your closest friends. Portugal. The Man and The War On Drugs are playing to only 1750 in the Fox Theater in Pomona. Angel Olsen and Jungle are both playing under the stars in the desert to a very select few at Pappy & Harriet’s. You get the idea.
Postmates is the exclusive food partner for Goldenvoice Presents April. Follow @postmates to find out how you can win a ‘golden ticket’ that gets you into all showcases.
Tickets for shows will go on sale over the next three Fridays. Get tickets for the first batch of shows on Friday February 16th at 10AM here.
