Foals In Degrees

Foals dropped their latest video for single “In Degrees” today. The track comes from their recently released album Everything Not Saved Will Be Lost – Part 1.

The video, directed by Aaron Brown (Arctic Monkeys, King Krule) depicts the band playing live in an empty ampitheater against an otherworldly background. As the sun sets, the the ampitheater is invaded by dancing fans. The video intercuts back and forth between a packed danceclub, the empty ampitheater and and the filled ampitheater. Lead singer Yannis Philippakis plays the shaker while rocking a pink and green flowered shirt.

The video shot in Brazil, and director Aaron Brown was attracted to the material because the song was a “post-punk, four on the floor, dance track.”

Foals plans to release a follow-up album, Everything Not Saved Will Be Lost – Part 2, later this year. The band is currently on tour in Europe. Check out their itinerary here.
