Look at every decade and there’s always someone looking to bring back a couple of decades before. American artist and LA native Dorvin Borman takes a cynical look at this phenomenon in his single, “I Punch the Clock.”
With its slow drums and simple guitar riffs, Borman’s voice is melancholic over the track. He sings, “Don’t you love the way I mourn the things I’ve never had, Decades that don’t exist…” reflecting on society’s need to only see the ideal in any decade that is brought back.
