Nashville alternative pop band COIN rocked the stage of The Wiltern last Friday, March 1st. The headliners delivered a high-energy performance, full of enthusiasm and charisma to a packed theatre of die-hard, mostly underage and mostly female fans. The upbeat vocals of frontman Chase Lawrence had fans jumping up and down and singing along to every song they performed.
The four-piece opened their set with the recently released single “I Want it All”, followed by the crowd favorite “Talk too Much” off their second album How Will You Know If You Never Try.
Opening the night was female singer and songwriter Tessa Violet and her band. The energetic, yellow-haired, lead singer along with her bassist and drummer warmed up the crowd with a dynamic performance mixed with upbeat indie pop and intimate acoustic songs.
The young (and generally accompanied by an adult) crowd was loving every minute of the pop performances.
