Based in Brooklyn, NY, Chase Potter is shoegaze’s latest and greatest rising star. His new track “Over” is a silky smooth combination of relaxed guitar riffs and mellow drum arrangements. Vocally, Potter’s voice is reminiscent of the vintage musicians from the ’70s including Gerry Beckley of the band America.
Potter states: “This song is about how we as individuals tend to feel isolated and sad as a result of societal issues affecting each and every one of us. However, this feeling of isolation is something that many of us are feeling, so we might as well feel it together and not cut off from everyone else as a result of the stresses of life.”
