Do you remember the incredibly cool “Turbo Killer” music video that shot Carpenter Brut into viral stardom? Well now Carpenter Brut and the director of that video Seth Ickerman are reteaming for a new short called Blood Machines.
Here is the plot: “Two space hunters are tracking down a machine trying to free itself. After taking it down, they witness a mystical phenomenon: the ghost of a young woman pulls itself out of the machine, as if the spaceship had a soul. Trying to understand the nature of this entity, they start chasing the woman through space…”
If the teaser is any indicator, the scope of this new film looks epic. The film clocks in at over thirty minutes and will feature an all new original score by Carpenter Brut. The filmmakers shot in September of last year, and now the film is in post. The short features over 400 visual effects shots and the filmmakers are looking for a little more money to finish the film.
