With a broad collection of indie rock tunes, Brooklyn based artist, Aaron Taos, takes a new direction with his latest single, “Amazing”. With a heavy baseline and drums, Taos sings of calling his lover, wanting to meet up. It’s upbeat and passionate. Where his other songs, like “Those days”, more indie rock western, and “Not Over Yet”, a classic indie/pop hybrid, “Amazing” really brings the pop to the front with a great drumbeat.
Opening with a popping like sound, the bass kicks in and the drums follow as Taos leads the song towards the chorus, where the drums and bass continue to set the mood. As the song gets closer to its conclusion, Taos adds in an electric guitar solo, ending with part of the chorus.

Not one to trouble over sticking to a specific genre, Taos is more concerned with what sounds good than fitting a specific mold, which makes his songs a nice surprise every time he releases a new single. Having taken time off in 2016 and releasing singles “Twisted,” “Alone”, and “Bangs,” in 2017, fans can expect the unexpected as he releases more songs in 2018.
