Tablefox, a five-piece out of Aukland, New Zealand have delivered a new heart-pounding single. Titled “Under A Broken Smile”, the track marks the band’s gallant entrance into 2018.
The song kicks off with a highly active intro of guitars, bass, and drums, setting the listener up for a tastefully crafted work of rock. With lead singer Clinton Bell belting out highly relatable lyrics, the group transforms ordinary instrumental sounds into a blend of deeply energetic soundwaves. Without question, the band does an above-ample job of creating a stadium-worthy rock anthem.
“Under A Broken Smile” is classified by the band as their most significant song in their 8-year history. Lead singer and frontman Clinton Bell states: “The track created so much creative turmoil that by the end of the recording process band members had walked out and the song had changed drastically from its original conception. The end result was a stronger, closer line up and one of the most powerful tracks the band has ever produced, setting the scene for the band’s sound as they set out.”
