From the sunny peninsula of Florida comes Jacob Craddock, a 19-year old musician that goes by the moniker Miramar Drive. Although not much is known about Craddock, his music speaks for itself. With his recent release “Afterthought”, the track solidifies that the young producer, singer-songwriter, guitarist and all-around good guy is here to stay.
“Afterthought” gently begins with Craddock singing calmly with the lull of an electric guitar in the background. The instrumentals are reminiscent of old-school Maritime with a twist and a peel. Narratively, elements of longing to be seen again are present and carefully injected into the track. With a steady rock beat and a plethora of jam worth riffs, the track is easily repeatable for days to come.
