Peach Festival has announced their initial line-up for 2018 at Montage Mountain. To the surprise of no one, it is jam-packed with headlining names for the weekend of July 19-22 at what is becoming one of the top Northeast festivals and a venue that is following a similar trend.
The Peach is continuing with its common theme of Allman Brothers Band, aiding the return/comeback of guitarist Dickie Betts, a founding member of Allman Brothers Band. Not to be myopically focused, other headliners include Phil & Terrapin Family Band, Gov’t Mule (with 2 sets of ‘Dark Side of the Mule’), Joe Russo’s Almost Dead, Twiddle, Chris Robinson Brotherhood, and moe.
Even the second tier is packed with household names. Those such as Turkuaz, Pigeons Playing Ping Pong, Anders Osborne & Jackie Green, Dumpstaphunk, and Leftover Salmon. The organizers have stated that even “more major artist announcements coming soon” which can only bode well. Tickets are already on sale and the first wave of “early bird” tickets have already sold out. There are several tiers of ticketing that will increase in price as they sell out/get closer to festival, click for more information.
