Nathaniel Rateliff & the Night Sweats new album Tearing at the Seams doesn’t release until March 9th, but the band released their first single, “You Worry Me.” The band worked with producer Richard Swift (Foxygen, The Shins) on the new album to create a “deeply personal, yet accessible” sound.
In a press release, Nathaniel Rateliff talked about changing the band’s approach on the new material. “For the first record, I demo’ed everything up and created most of the parts. This time, I felt like we’ve all spent so much time on the road that we should all go off somewhere together. We should all have that experience together.”
The band catapulted to International attention with their 2015 self-titled debut Nathaniel Rateliff & the Night Sweats. The single “S.O.B.” became a breakout hit, chalking up over 56M plays on Spotify and 37M views on Youtube.
